And....We Have Internets Again! Yay!

Our house is pretty old. It has high ceilings, fancy schmancy door knobs on every door, wood moulding everywhere and a very. smally. kitchen. I LOVE it. (pictures to follow...soon, swear)

When the Internet lady came to hook up the modem and connection, the only working phone line was in Cierra's room. Cierra is nine and has a massively huge extended family. That being said, I accidentally tossed a blanket over the modem while covering up my niece. Apparently modems don't like to be cozy under a blanket.

A-ny-Way I have Internet again.

Things are getting to be hectic, as they do when the Holidays approach and school is in session. I will get pictures up sooner than later. Swear!

Rod and I are going to a wedding tomorrow. We haven't dressed to the nines to go anywhere since prom; I LOVE dressing up! yay yay yay! (I am doing the brides makeup on site. It won't be hard, Lacy is the counter manager for Dior and is absolutely gorgeous to begin with. Can't wait!)

It should be a good time!

We've got a pumpkin carving party coming up in a couple of weeks, which is always chaotically fun! The house is all decorated for Halloween (almost). I bought black poster-board to cut out tree branches with hanging bats (not birds that are pictured below). I will tape the pieces to the windows so that when the lights are on, it looks like shadows through the front windows. :) I love that shit!

Expectations are the Bollocks

I work at a salon, so there is an over. abundance. of magazines. Seriously.

I read magazines backwards, mainly because the articles seem a bit condescending.(Or I was Asian in my past life.)

The articles....can I vent?

Nothing in life can be decided by a list or a quiz (though it is fun to pretend that it's that easy).

There is no ultimate answer, just people making money pretending that there is.

I believe that the choices you make and the chances you take and the courage you are willing to show are what make you as a person.

If you aren't happy....do something about it already. I think it really is that simple. Sheesh.

On a completely different note I LOVE this scarf on Etsy.( I have blog ADD, don't hate).

Maybe I can con Rod's sister into teaching me how to knit...THAT is a possibility.

Oh! and my ex-husband got re-married today/yesterday. I'm happy, she's rad. (I have guilt over telling him I didn't love him... yes. I did.) I'm just happy he finally found his 'one'.

My turn!
