Songs About ME

Here is a playlist of "Jenny" Songs'...just what you always wanted! Ha ha ha

Snowshoes

Are you sick of me complaining about the snow yet? lol

I wore my cute kitten heel pointy heels to work today, by the time I was on break, there was two inches on the ground. It was snowing so hard, that the buuilding snow-clearers left 'until it stops'. This meant I got to brave the snow in my cute shoes! Damn!

Googled Potatoe Greatness

Every now and then I am Really entertained when I see how people stumble across my blog. It is usually by random Google searches. (On that note, Thank GOD for Google!) The most recent searches via google that will land you on my blog are as follows:

1. The good ole' standard 'lumpy potatoes'

2. The other most common, 'looks like lumpy potatoes'

3. More recently, 'Lumpy Potatoes ruined my marriage' lol

I feel bad for the fact that lumpy potatoes ruined a marriage. Honey! learn how to fake those potatoes, buy instant, make them with milk butter and a touch of garlic salt. MARRIAGE SAVED! hurraaaaaay!

4. There was this one which I found SUPER funny: 'Examples of extemporaneous speeches about making lasagna'

I went to State in extemporaneous speaking in high school, I am sure that was the Google trigger. Extemporaneous speaking is doing a timed speech about a random topic that you are given 'on the fly' with hardly no prep-time. The fact that this person was researching it, made me giggle!

Running, Pictures and Hospitals Oh! My!

This week was a whirlwind! I am on the last day of my min-vacation (four days off in a row). I am feeling revived and ready to tackle the spring, even though it is STILL winter and there is STILL loads of snow on the ground.

A few things happened this week that deserve to be noted...

1. I ran my first four mile stretch yesterday with Miss Amy from work (we are both tackling this 1/2 marathon in May). It felt good to have someone on the same level running next to me (even though I know I could still do it alone). On that note, I am the Queen Loner sometimes, but I am learning to never tackle anything alone IF I don't have to.

2. I did not one, not two...but THREE photo shoots this week. The link for the second one is HERE. I am still editing the third for Miss Ashira, who's website is going live within the next few weeks to prep resume's and give interview coaching. A big thanks to Rockbrook Camera and Video for renting the light kit out to me for next to nothing. (You guys ROCK my face off!)

3. My brother was in the hospital for the first part of the week. (Gallbladder) I am glad that he is out and feeling a bit better! My dad was in town for a couple of days as well, which was really nice!

4. Amy did my hair at the start of the weekend. More layers, a bit darker base and more blonde slices. LOVE! (sorry for the blurry picture)

PhotoShoot Numero Uno....FINALLY

I finally got myself together and did a couple of photo shoots this past weekend.

My beautiful sister-in-law Vanessa wanted some belly pictures. I've only had the opportunity to do one other belly shoot, so this was a lot of fun! I was having some lighting issues, but as soon as I invest in more lights, that will no longer be an issue!

(Every last bit of my photography stuff was taken by my ex-boyfriend. He refused to give it all back to me when we broke up. I am finally, over a year later getting my inventory built up).

Though the whole thing made me incredibly angry at the time, I am over it. Anger will destroy you if you let it! (I still believe Carma is a bitch.)

I digress...

SO! The pictures! Here are some from the belly shoot. In these pictures: Vanessa,my sister-in-law. Kenz, my cutie niece, and my little brother, Josh!

My Dad's FACE

When my Dad, Mona (step mom), Jordy (sister) and Trace (nephew) were in town we played cranium. That game rocks my face off. I get distracted easily, so during the game I decided to sculpt my dad's face with palydough. There was a bet that it wouldn't look like him, but AH-HA! I have a secret talent for this that my family didn't know about. LOL Seeee! ha ha ha

Ladies and gentlemen... I give you (drum roll please)... My Dad's FACE!

I'm Here, I'm Alive, I'm Freezing My Ass Off!

Guess what folks? MORE SNOW today! Wendy-wenz called it all a 'snow-nami' (which I stole and used several times today) thank-you very much!

I realize I haven't blogged in ten days (GASP!)...this too will pass- SWEAR!

I have soo many exciting things going on, I can hardly stand it!

1. First official Photo Shoots of 2010...tomorrow. Yay! (I, of course will post a couple as soon as I have a second)

2. I get four days off in-a-row next weekend. (requested it ages ago)

3. I FINALLY got my car plated and have a Nebraska license, this was LONG overdue!

4. My family is coming over for some lasagna tomorrow night, (always good times)!

5. I am counting the days to visit Albuquerque and stay on Valency's big brown comfy couch!

6. I am glad February is a short month, because that means it is closer to spring (so I can ride my new BIKE).

So yeah...I'm here, and I'm alive!

Soo. Very. Alive.

Went to Lacy's last Wednesday, haven't been in a while. It was good to hang out with me girls. :)
